7. Tata Tea Museum, Munnar

Get introduced to tea processing methods of the past and the present with the visit to the Tata Tea Museum set up at the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea. Set up in 2005 the Tata Tea Museum educates visitors with the history and development of tea in Munnar through the displays of an old tea roller called Rotorvane and modern machinery used for automated tea production.

Travellers are welcomed by a sundial at the entrance made by the Art Industrial School in Tamil Nadu in 1913. The Museum also features a Pelton Wheel used in power generation plant in 1920 and a rail engine wheel of the Kundale Valley Railway. It houses a tea tasting unit where you can taste the different variety of your favourite brew.

8. Rajamalai Wildlife Sanctuary

The sanctuary featuring the endangered species of Nilgiri Tahr is the first national park in Kerala. Another highlight of the park is the highest peak of South India, Anamudi Peak at the height 2695 meters above the sea level.
